What better way to appreciate

your Western heritage or really experience the old west than to get on a horse and hit the trails or be a part of a cattle drive. So don’t horse around, mount up and go horseback riding with us. Our trail rides or cattle drives are designed by professionals with you enjoyment and safety in mind. Rides can last from 1 to 4 hours with a Chuck wagon cook-out or just enjoy the open country side. Call to schedule private, corporate or group events. No experience is required and riding lessons are also available. Trail ride participants must be 8 years of age or older.

Plan and participate in a

unique western-style cooking competition in which a challenger chefs “battles” each other or a  resident “Iron Chefs” by cooking five or more dishes in a one-hour time slot based around a secret ingredient or ingredients, and sometimes theme.  Find out whose cuisine reigns supreme.

With more than 30 years of experience and about 250 horse in training at several locations you are assured a friendly, educational, relaxed and extremely supportive atmosphere for your Western Adventure. Catering is available for any event or venue.

Day on the Ranch

Enjoy a full day at “The World’s Most Famous Ranch”! From 10:00 am-3:30 pm our Day on the Ranch package includes a two-hour horse education and riding lesson segment, plus an hour-long relaxing trail ride experience, a tour of The Famous Ewing Mansion, a delicious deli lunch and Ranch RoundUp Gift Shop credit.

  • Single person at $295 plus tax
    Groups of 2 at $240 per person plus tax
    Groups of 3 at $180 per person plus tax

    Groups of 5 at $135 per person plus tax

Please print your confirmation email and present it at check-in. The Day on the Ranch package is non-refundable. If you must cancel we will allow you to re-schedule your reservation for a different date. (Cancellation notice must be given at least 24 hours in advance – if a 24-hour cancellation notification is not given you will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee).

Equestrian Day

Minimum 1 person

Price: $295 per person

Enjoy a full day at “The World’s Most Famous Ranch!” The Equestrian Day package is perfect for someone who wants to learn more than just how to RIDE a horse. From 9:00 am-4:00 pm our Equestrian Day package includes learning horse care/feeding, stable care, horse anatomy education, leading, grooming, tacking, riding lesson and a trail ride! A delicious deli lunch and Ranch RoundUp Gift Shop credit is also included.

*48 hour reservations are required and based upon availability, weather permitting.

*Riders MUST arrive 45 minutes in advance of ride time for check in process.

Trail Rides

Our wranglers reserve the right to reschedule trail rides due to weather, equine health or safety issues at any time. Payment is due upon booking. Please print your confirmation email and present it at check-in. The Equestrian Day package is non-refundable. If you must cancel we will allow you to re-schedule your reservation for a different date within one year. (Cancellation notice must be given at least 24 hours in advance – if a 24-hour cancellation notification is not given you will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee).

Ranch Riding Lesson

Overview

We offer riding lessons 7 days a week based upon availability and weather permitting. Lesson time is 8:00am daily. Lessons are approx. 1 hour in length. Advanced purchased, multi-lesson discounts are available.

Please print your confirmation and present it to your wrangler at check-in. Confirmation is sent to your email address when booking. Lessons must be booked 24 hours in advance.

Ranch Trail Ride

Overview

Come on out and experience some real Texas-sized fun riding the trail at Southfork Ranch. Trail Rides are open 7 days a week based upon availability and weather permitting. Riders will head out at 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm, and 4:00pm. Riders must be at least 8 years old, 48” tall, and not exceed 240lbs. Closed-toe shoes required. Our wranglers reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, equine health, or safety issues at anytime.

Please print your confirmation and present it to your wrangler at check-in. Confirmation is sent to your email address when booking. Trail rides must be booked at least 1 hour in advance. You MUST arrive 45 minutes in advance of scheduled ride time for check-in process. Late arrivals may result in a shortened ride or forfeiture of ride and payment. Trail rides are a non-refundable booking.

Wrangler Educational Day Camp

Overview

Summer is here and that means it’s time for the Trail Rides USA kids Wrangler Educational Day Camp at SouthFork Ranch! Stop horsing around, get ready to mount up and learn what it takes to be a Wrangler!

Our equine educational Year round developmental camps are designed by professionals with a priority on equine education, Western riding advancement, increasing overall knowledge and understanding of horses combined with secure hands-on learning.

This three-day educational horse camp is located on the historic Southfork Ranch and is designed for students age 8-15. Under the direction of qualified & experienced instructors, each student will not only have the opportunity to ride, but also experience hands-on training!

Students will learn the proper fundamentals of Western riding along with; correct grooming, saddling and caring for their assigned horse. All of our qualified instructors have years of equine experience and training that include both Western & English equitation as well as achievements in equine competitions.

If there are any safety concerns such, as but not limited to; weather, equine health or rider health, individual concessions will be made at the digression of the staff. The scheduled ride time will be supplemented with additional time for education and bonding for the horses.
